In the Art Room - A couple more projects

Mini Matisse posted a great little how to draw sheet for her holiday bow project and it was the perfect thing for my seventh graders to work on right before break.
The Kinders painted family portraits of the Holy Family
And the 4th graders blew paint through a straw to create antlers for their creative reindeer

In the Art Room - It's been a while!!!

Thanks for all the tips about uploading photos!  Here's what we've been up to in the art room!
1st Grade - Rooftop Santas
7th Grade Zentangle Initials
3rd Grade Where In the World is Rudolph
2nd Grade Tangles Ornamenst
5th Grade Winter Silhouettes

3rd Grade Van Gogh Inspired Rooms

I have so much more to share!  In fourth grade we're blowing paint through straws to make reindeer antlers, in 8th grade we're working on some awesome typographical compositions, 7th grade is drawing beautiful bows (thanks mini matisse!), and 6th grade is working on creating art in a series through nutcracker drawings. I hope I can get it all on before Christmas break!

Whenever I try to add images, I get a message that my storage is full!  I don't want to buy more storage - any advice?

In the Art Room - Frank Stella

I really loved doing this project!  My sixth graders looked at Frank Stella's protractor series and created a piece of their own.  The only requirement was to color according to a color theory that they could explain - analogous, complimentary, cool, warm etc.

In the Art Room - Runaway Turkeys

Here's my kinder turkey project!  Simple shapes and some directional lines and we have a runaway turkey!
