In the Art Room - American Flags

Here are two flag projects, one for sixth grade and one for third grade that were completed in two class periods.  I especially like this sixth grade flag because one of their first projects as seventh graders will be Op Art and this served as a great intro.  As for the third grades, I had one class cut out their flags and glue them to a firework background while the other class created an imaginary background for their flags.  The imaginary backgrounds were much more creative but they got real messy real quick.  The firework backgrounds made for a much cleaner finished product.
